Permanent makeup for scar camouflage
Permanent makeup for scar camouflage is tackled with a two pronged attack on the scar. Firstly the actuation of the needles working through the scar tissue – just millimetres from the surface – stimulates the skin cells to regenerate and reproduce collagen, elastin and melanin. This helps to re-pigment scars and relax taut scar tissue that has been caused by injury, burns or surgery. This part of the treatment causes an actual physical change in the scar.
The second effect we use is to implant tiny micropigments into the skin. This pigment is matched to the surrounding tissue and therefore helps to blend the scar. The results can be life changing!
The versatility of permanent makeup is changing lives in many ways.
