Planning your eyebrow enhancement

 Planning your eyebrow enhancement

Planning your enhancement is a vital to part of you treatment.  There maybe some factors that you were not aware of when considering a brow enhancement.
You must not come to your appointment with a sun tan. The effects of the sun in skin effect the stability of the pigment. It can blur the pigment, it can change the colour of the pigment in the skin.  I advise my clients; no sun 2 weeks before or after treatment.
If this is your initial treatment then 2 treatments are required to achieve the end result.  This will be included in your cost and need to be spaced out at least 4 weeks apart.
With all this taken into account, you need to plan for your brow enhancement at least 2 months before visiting a hot climate with exposure to sun and swimming. This will allow sufficient time to complete the treatment and for the pigment to be established in the skin and be perfect for your holiday.
If it is a colour boost which is carried out in 1 treatment then plan it for at least 2 weeks before you’re holiday but preferably 4 weeks.
Don’t exercise on the day of or the day after your treatment.  For best results refrain from exercise for a week after treatment. This is because it creates heat, which opens poors and effects pigment retention. It also produces salt water in you’re perspiration.  Salt water is actually used to REMOVE pigment.
No tinting or waxing 2 weeks before or after treatment.

How to prolong the life of your brows

For long term care of your brows, think Sun. It is vital to protect them from the sun. Even if you don’t SPF you’re face, then carry a lip balm with a strong SPF in you’re bag to pop on your brows. The sun breaks pigment down in the skin and accelerates the fade.
Having brows for your holiday is amazing.  They won’t smudge when you get hot, and you can take a dip in the pool whenever you want.
YOUR BROWS ARE FOR LIFE, NOT JUST YOUR HOLIDAY. 🙂
